DebiCheck is an automatic payment authorization method in the South African financial sector. It allows borrowers to electronically confirm transactions for monthly automatic deductions from their bank accounts when signing a contract or agreeing to payments. This confirmation is typically done through the borrower's use of the bank's digital channels, such as card authorization via a point-of-sale terminal, ensuring that the bank cannot process automatic debit transactions without the borrower's explicit consent.

When the merchant backend request this API, the PayCloud server will send a message to the 'WiseCashier' application on the payment terminal, activating the application interface and initiating the process to cancel the Debicheck authentication.

📄️ Debicheck Result Notify

When Debicheck authentication is successful, failed, or canceled, PayCloud will send the relevant information to the merchant. In such cases, the merchant's backend needs to receive the result and respond to PayCloud.
